A popular New York eatery, Bagatelle has now opened a restaurant in Saint Barth. Right on the waterfront in Gustavia, this contemporary French bistro is both chic and elegant.
Updated French cuisine with Mediterranean accents is served in Bagatelle’s signature atmosphere, where the pleasures of good food and conviviality create experiences to remember.
On the menu, tuna tartar Bagatelle, made from a recipe created by Nicolas Cantrel, the former chef at Louis XV in Paris, Provencal-style calamari, whole roasted chicken with truffles, shrimp flambéed with pastis, or macaroni and cheese with truffle oil, a nouvelle cuisine version of the ‘mac & cheese’ we loved as kids.
Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as for drinks, Bagatelle has comfortable seating either in the dining room or on the terrace looking out at the boats on the dock.
Our bartender invites you to try Bagatelle’s signature cocktails, among the most popular of which is the celebrated Sangria Bagatelle Rouge or Rosé made from a blend of fine wines and strawberry and peach purée.
Good food at reasonable prices is served in the friendly atmosphere of this French-style bistro. Perfect for dining along the port, and enjoying the good life.
Closed for Saturday and Sunday lunch, except during the Christmas holidays open daily for lunch and dinner

Terrific location. Fabulous atmosphere with nicely appointed refurbishments. Great bar set up and excellent DJ with good sounds which pick up as night progresses. Food was great: chicken for two inspired; escargots excellent with appropriate garlic; charcuterie appetizers was excellent with lots of choices; rack of lamb tasty! Service: good initially, but not as good as evening progressed as wait staff became more focused on late evening large tables.
