A popular St Barth restaurant, either for dinner for two or a large family group with kids, The Hideaway opened in 1997 and offers tasty French food in keeping with its reputation.
Since its founder, Andy, has gone off on a new adventure on the other side of the world, his colleague Hafida, who worked with him for 15 years, has taken over running the restaurant in the same friendly spirit.
Yet the clientele is still the same, just as loyal to Hafida as to the restaurant and its specialties.
The menu features a variety of traditional French dishes, large portions, and reasonable prices.
Once a month, there is a themed evening with a party ambiance guaranteed.
The grilled fish or meat with handmade fries is the most popular item, along with a selection of large salads and pizza made in a wood-burning oven.
