Since it opened seven years ago, Bonito has continually been in vogue. This is undoubtedly due to the fact that it is more than just a restaurant; it’s a great experience. Comfortable, welcoming, and chic, the interior is designed to be like a beach house: spacious and open, where positive energy circulates with the breeze. Overlooking the port, a salon with deep, comfy sofas adjoins the dining room, the ceviche bar, and cocktail bar.
Every table has a jaunty raffia lampshade hanging overhead, providing a perfect setting for couples, families, and friends. The menu is under the direction of executive chef Laurent Cantineaux, who has worked at the famous Troisgros in Roannes, in Daniel Boulud’s kitchens in New York, and has been influenced by the flavors of Peru and Venezuela.
In the kitchen, chef Ronan Mahé creates dishes that blend classic French techniques and ingredients from South America. Gourmet cuisine and an embracing atmosphere make you feel like you are visiting friends who you like to see often.
